How about a funky chair that looks like a giant hand? Or a bookshelf that twists into cool shapes?
Don’t forget about decorations too. Fun wall art, colorful cushions, and cool lamps can add a lot of personality.
Remember, it’s all about creating a space that’s not just comfy but also super fun and memorable for your guests!
Buying Furniture For Your Vacation Rental: How Much Will it Cost?
The average Airbnb furniture cost will vary immensely depending on the size of your space and the quality of furniture you choose to buy.
But in most cases, you can expect to spend anywhere from $5,000 – $15,000 to furnish your Airbnb fully. This includes furniture, decor, labor, and other supplies and inventory.
How much it will actually cost to furnish your vacation rental property will depend on a long list of different factors, and you can get a better sense by making a complete list of the furniture and furnishings you’ll need to buy.

Tips in Buying Vacation Rental Furniture
For quality and budget-friendly furniture, consider checking out Wayfair, World Market, Ashley Furniture, Article, Cort Furniture, and Amazon.
Shopping for furniture online is a great time-saver, sparing you the hassle of visiting multiple stores. Plus, it’s easier to snag awesome deals and compare prices and reviews online.
There are also businesses that specialize in providing furniture packages for vacation rentals or offer full-service Airbnb furnishing solutions.
You might think about getting Ikea furniture for your Airbnb, but there are reasons to reconsider. Ikea’s designs are widely recognized, which might give your rental a more common, less upscale feel.
Also, Ikea pieces may not be as long-lasting, potentially leading to more frequent replacements compared to other brands.
We hope this Airbnb furnishing list helps you get started furnishing your Airbnb! If you’re looking for more ideas on how to furnish and stock your vacation rental, check out our Airbnb Host Checklist or download our complete inventory checklist spreadsheet.
