(all of the characters in this story belong to Erin hunter. this did not happen in the books and is a rewrite I created. I only own the writing it's self.
you were one of the journeying cats, hand-chosen by starclan. well, not really. you just went with Stormfur to protect him. although he was only there because of his sister, Feathertail.
but all that mattered was that you were with him. when you go to the tribe of rushing water the tribe thought that Stormfur was a special cat in their prophecy. at first, the clan cats were nice.
although you disliked them. but when you and the other cats on the journey wanted to leave they captured Stormfur and threw you and the others out.
that rightfully pissed you off. after all how dare those evil mountain cats steal and trap Stormfur! while he was gone you barely ate or drank anything or slept. but soon you and the other cats went to save Stormfur. but it turned out the tribe cats kept Stormfur because they were dealing with Sharpclaw, a heartless mountain lion that was killing the tribe of rushing water cats.
so you and the other cats on the journey agreed to help the tribe. but soon Sharpclaw ran into the cave and slaughtered Feathertail. but Sharpclaw died as well.
Stormfur was shocked and sad. you were kind of sad but also happy at the same time. now Stormfur could spend more time with you rather than his stupid sister.
but there was a problem. well, there were many problems but one was that Stormfur was spending a lot of time with a tribe of rushing water cat named Brook where small fish swim. or Brook for short.
you weren't sure if Stormfur loved her or if Brook loved him but all you knew was that if somebody tried to take Stormfur away from you it wouldn't end well.
but now all of the clans were journeying to their new home. but you heard rumors that Stormfur wanted to stay in the mountains. but those were just rumors, right? after all why would Stormfur want to live with those nasty mountain cats?
shaking your thoughts away you get up and stretch. you decided that you should talk to Stormfur and see what was really going on. he couldn't leave you.
noticing that Stormfur was sitting by himself you approach him.
"hey, Stormfur!" You greet him, sitting down next to him. 'I heard rumors that you were leaving and going back to the tribe of rushing water. but that isn't true, right?"
gulping you begin to wonder if the rumors were actually true.
the grey tom was silent. he simply glanced down at the ground and began to shuffle his paws.
"w-well, uh I have been thinking about it." Stormfur admitted, giving his chest tuft an awkward lick. but I haven't really made a choice yet."
shock pulsed through you and you take a step back, not being able to believe what you just heard. then again Stormfur said he was thinking about leaving. there was a chance you could change Stormfur's mind.
"why would you want to live with the tribe of rushing water?" You demanded, narrowing your e/c eyes. "they killed Feathertail!"
what you said wasn't exactly true. Feathertail knew attacking Sharpclaw was a risk. yet she did it anyway. but then again if the clans never went to the mountains then Feathertail would still be alive.
narrowing his eyes Stormfur got up and let out a short hiss. "the tribe of rushing water cats did not kill Feathertail! my sister died saving them so they could be safe." Stormfur spat, rage clearly heard in his voice.
taken back you roll your e/c eyes. "whatever." you snarl.
sighing your crush turned around and slowly began to walk into the distance.
"I'm leaving now," Stormfur informed you. "I made my choice."
fear spread through your pelt. you couldn't let Stormfur leave you here alone. you loved him. you couldn't live without him. if you had to maybe you could follow Stormfur to the mountains. although you really didn't want to do that.
then again maybe if you told Stormfur you loved him he would stay in riverclan with you. calming down you can't help but smile now. Stormfur would of course love you back he would stay with you.
all you had to do was confess your feelings then Stormfur would finally be yours. quickly rushing over to the blue-gray tom you grab his tail and stop him from moving.
"Stormfur wait!" you urge. "please don't leave."
stopping Stormfur started blankly at you. "what do you want?" Stormfur asked. "I'm going to the mountains and the tribe of rushing water no matter what you say. you can't stop me."
wondering what to say you soon blush. "u-Uhm, I want you." you manage to mutter awkwardly.
his eyes going as wide as the moon Stormfur backed away and tilted his head.
"what do you mean?" Stormfur asked.
realizing you couldn't hide your feelings for any longe you smile. pictures of you and Stormfur's future life flashed before your eyes. you would go back to riverclan and soon have kits. Stormfur would always be yours.
"S-stormfur I love you!" you finally confess, waiting for your future mate's response. you knew that Stormfur loved you back. you just wondered how Stormfur would confess back to you.
shocked, Stormfur stood there, not knowing what to say.
"Uhm, w-well, I'm sorry. you know I already have a mate, right?" Stormfur questioned.
reality hit you and dread slowly filled your belly.
"y-you have a mate?" You ask, tears slowly forming in your eyes.
"yeah," Stormfur said, shuffling his paws. "I'm sorry but I don't love you."
you were silent, wondering what to say next. but then you realized that Stormfur had to be joking. you knew that Stormfur loved you. there wasn't a chance that he didn't. bursting out laughing you watched as Stormfur tilted his head.
"w-what's so funny?" Stormfur asked.
"nice joke." You purr.
"I'm not joking." Stormfur sighed. "I'm sorry but I Don't love you."
no. that was not possible. you loved Stormfur. that meant he had to love you back, right?
"y-your lying!" you blurt out, still unconvinced. "You do love me! if you don't think you do. even if you have a mate. you still love me!"
"you're insane." Stormfur hissed. "I know who I love and it isn't you."
"who do you love then? Oh wait. let me guess. it's Brook isn't it?" You asked, unsheathing your claws and sinking them into the dirt. you were going to kill Brook. she deserved to die a long, pain-filled death.
Stormfur winced like he didn't expect you to guess it.
"that really isn't none of your business. but you are correct." Stormfur admitted.
"you have to leave Brook. you don't love her. you love me!" you scream, slowly losing your mind. "Your all mine! you belong to me."
"I do not belong to anybody. I am my own cat. you are insane!" with that Stormfur left, leaving you angry and alone.
narrowing your eyes you decide to head back to riverclan. but once you get there your just going to train, slowly planning your revenge.
